Embark on an exciting kayaking adventure on Skadar Lake after discovering the sights in Virpazar, a tranquil fishing village. We’ll use this kayaking to show you some of the most beautiful spots as well as some historical landmarks; it’s an incredible environment.

Skadar Lake is the largest lake on the Balkan peninsula. It is renowned across the globe for its unique beauty. Rich in both vegetation and wildlife, it has been listed as a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. Enjoy the view of the many islands and bays in this area, together with their lovely surroundings, while kayaking around the lake.

For everyone who loves nature, Skadar Lake is a paradise. The lake is home to 264 different species of birds, of which 73 have nests, 18 are regular passersby, 45 are winter visitors, and 12 typically spend the summer without stumbling. The biological and geological features, along with the ecosystem’s unevenness, are the explanation for this diversity of birds. The most frequent sightings include wild ducks, mussels, cormorants, bar cuts, and white, grey, and yellow herons. Pelican has undoubtedly stolen the magnificent spot.

One of Lake Skadar’s unique characteristics is its aquatic vegetation, especially its marshy vegetation. The most famous and numerous floating wetland species, white and yellow water lilies, cover large water bodies during the summer months. They are also followed by extensive and dense populations of reeds and rushes (emergent plants), which are often impassable.

After breakfast, at the latest 08:00 a.m., we check out of the hotel and travel to our next destination – Durmitor Mountain. On the way to Žabljak, – Adventure awaits!

Try Nevidio Canyon, the last conquered Canyon in Europe, with cliffs that are so close to each other that at some points they prevent the light from getting in. It is one of the biggest climbing challenges in this part of Europe. Imagine yourself in the heart of a spectacular canyon, diving into the turbulent waves, descending the cliffs and waterfalls through meter-wide, narrow passages. On the way through the three-and-a-half-kilometre-long canyon, you will come across waterfalls, straits, cascades, narrow channels, and a whole gallery of nature-made sculptures.

After this amazing adrenaline tour, we continue our journey to Žabljak, the town where we will have accommodation for the next three nights!

Durmitor is the most beautiful mountain in Montenegro, where tectonic activity and erosion, rivers, and glaciers, create a mountainous world of magnificent beauty, which is a good place for hiking to see in one day. With peaks, glacial valleys, and a handful of mountain lakes, these are known as “mountain eyes.”. The sharp peaks and ridges make it an ideal place for hiking in the winter and summer. We make a few short stops to rest and take photos before our destination, Žabljak.

Arrive at the small town of Žabljak (1450 m), one of the most genuine rural places to stay on the Durmitor. Also, after amazing canyoning, just enjoy a lazy late afternoon with a delicious local beer or wine by lunch typical for this mountainous area in one of the Žabljak’s pubs. From the top of the Ferrata, namely from the top of Uvita Greda, you can see the entire Durmitor.

In a relatively small area of the massif of Durmitor, there are even 48 peaks over 2000 m, of which 40 are over 2100m, 27 are over 2200 m, 18 are over 2300 m, 7 are over 2400 m, and one is over 2500 meters (Bobotov Kuk).

Enjoy this moment in time. Prokletije National Park in Montenegro is the most gorgeous spot where you can go hiking. Peaks rise straight to the sky, and chamois roam among rocky outcrops. Wander with them if you’re feeling adventurous.

Hike the slopes of Mt. Bogićevica (2204 m) and Hridsko Jezero (Hrid Lake), situated at an altitude of 1970m above sea level. Hrid Lake is a small glacial lake, but its uniqueness lies in its elevation as one of Montenegro’s highest lakes, if not the highest. Rugged mountain peaks encircle it; in Montenegrin, a “craggy rock” is known as a “hrid.”

Nestled in magnificent mountain scenery with unique rock formations and high pine and spruce trees, the lake is hidden under the steep cliffs of Hridski Krš and Mount Bogićevica. A legend says that the lake was created by the Gods, as a hidden bathing place for fairies where they could bathe, unseen by humans. The name “Fairy Lake” is still used for the lake in the Albanian-speaking area. Free time, dinner, and overnight.
