The second part of this amazing tour is exploring Durmitor, Morača and Tara canyons, which will surely delight you! Montenegro has the most beautiful and deepest canyon in Europe.
Since Northern Montenegro is an area of high mountains, jewelled by gorgeous canyons, every visitor can’t be indifferent during the visit. Tara Canyon takes a proud second-deepest in the world just after the Grand Canyon in the USA and it’s Europe’s deepest canyon.

First of all, you will have breakfast in the hotel so you will have “full batteries” for a journey through Boka bay. The first stop will be the old town of Kotor, protected by UNESCO since 1978. Walking through the square of arms, square of flour you will be impressed by lavish palaces while the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon will delight you with its appearance and history. Also, you will be introduced to a 10-centuries old maritime tradition of Kotor.
Enchanted by the medieval beauty, you will have another historical and cultural shock on the next stop. It is one of the well-preserved baroque towns on the Adriatic coast, with a long maritime history and tradition. Shortly said, we will visit Perast and then take a boat to the picturesque, boat-shaped islet called “Our Lady of the rocks” that preserves and shares secrets of seaman from Perast.
Back to the hotel in the late afternoon with a camera and mind full of photos and memories and relaxing for new unforgettable moments or doing paragliding from Brajici as an optional activity.

The third day is planned to be one of the most beautiful days in the guest’s life! Several points of extraordinary beauty to be visited in one day – Morača and Tara River canyons, as well as two towns – Žabljak and Pljevlja.
On our way from the south to the north of Montenegro, we will pass through the Canyon Morača, a river that springs in northern Montenegro at the foot of the mountain Rzač, which flows 113 km from north to south and empties into the Skadar Lake. The first stop will be in Morača Monastery from the 13th century.
The journey will be continued through the canyon Tara, which is in the UNESCO register of the world’s natural heritage. With its 82 km length, an average depth of 1000 m and a max depth of 1300 m, Tara Canyon is the second deepest canyon in the world and the deepest canyon in Europe!
On the way to the cultural and historical town Pljevlja, you will have an opportunity to walk over the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge – an architectural masterpiece with five arches at 152 meters above the river Tara.
In Pljevlja, the guest will learn more about the history of Montenegro, and feel the mixture of Orthodox and Islamic spirits. The important religious centres will be visited – a medieval Hussein Pasha mosque, whose minaret is the highest minaret on the Balkan peninsula as well as a medieval monastery of the Holy Trinity, whose treasury is one of the richest in the Serbian Orthodox Church.

If you arrive by plane at the airport in Tivat, an airport transfer to Budva city is included in the price. If you are not landing directly at Tivat Airport, you are already in some accommodation in Tivat, an transfer to Budva city is included in the price. Our guide/driver will meet you at the agreed time at the Tivat Main Bus Station, at the main entrance on the corner of the building, (Bonići I, 85320, Tivat), or according to the agreement.

Cancellation:
The partner is entitled to cancel the tour and is required to inform the Montenegro Adventure. Cancellation can be made on our website or by e-mail: booking@montenegroadventure.travel. The date of the written cancellation is the basis for calculating the fee, according to the General Terms and Conditions of the Montenegro Adventure, expressed as a percentage of the total price.
if it’s not otherwise stated, the following cancellation rules apply:
• Any booking cancelled more than 61 days prior to arrival date pays a 10% fee.
• Bookings cancelled between 60 and 30 days of arrival date pay a 25% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled between 29 and 12 days of arrival date pay a 50% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled less than 11 days from arrival date pay a 100% cancellation fee.
We advise all clients to take out cancellation insurance.
Participants & Children:
If you are under 18 you will need parental permission, unless you travel in the company of an adult (18 years of age or older).
Children’s minimum age:
Please, be sure to check in the travel program if the child’s age is limited. In most activities we offer, the minimum age for children is 7 years, but we also have tours where the age of the child is not limited.
However, children under 7 years (0-6 years) cannot do all the activities, and parents must always supervise them. If there is a possibility, we can arrange childcare if parents want to leave their younger children to stay with our staff.
The minimum age for Rafting, Canyoning, Walking or Trekking – a child older than 7 years. Paragliding, Horseback riding and Quad (ATV) would be 10 years. The minimum age for Kayak, SUP and Rock Climbing is 12 years.
RELEASE:
It is recommended to book as early as possible to guarantee availability – or at least seven days before departure for a tour.
Note: We require a minimum of 2 people (couple – adults) to confirm this trip.
If a trip is not confirmed yet, you can register on the waiting list and will be notified when the trip is officially confirmed, with guaranteed departure. We recommend not making final travel arrangements until your trip meets the minimum number of guests and is approved.
In most cases, if a trip does not reach the minimum number of guests, you may choose to transfer to another trip date or another trip, be refunded your payments in full, or you may have the choice to pay a supplemental fee to run the trip with fewer guests. We make the final determination for these trips 30 days before departure.
