Traveleyes – Discover Montenegro

After breakfast at 9 o’clock, we drive toward Black Lake to explore one of the most famous “mountain eyes” glacial lakes of Durmitor. Black Lake is located at an altitude of 1416 meters and surrounded by a dense forest of black Durmitor pine trees. This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Montenegro and a popular destination for recreation and hiking. The lake itself is about 3.5km and takes around an hour to walk around and it looks just like it does in the photographs – absolutely gorgeous.

Return to our hotel and free time for the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

After a delicious breakfast at 8 o’clock, we check out at the hotel and head toward Tara Canyon, where we’ll enjoy an adventurous and scenic river rafting experience in the Tara River. This magnificent river is located in Europe´s longest canyon and the second-longest in the world after Grand Canyon in the USA.

Our Rafting Tara from Šljivansko to Žugića Luka will let you experience and see fantastic parts of the Tara River, well-known for its outstanding beauty and also the remarkable Đurđevića Tara Bridge. The whole section of our rafting experience is 10 km long and normally takes about 2 and a half hours to complete. It will include a brief stop with time to swim and take photos. After our rafting tour, we will have lunch and prepare for our journey toward the coastal part of Montenegro and Tivat.

For those who want to experience an additional adventure before our journey toward Tivat can choose our optional activity Extreme Zipline, the longest and fastest zip line across the Tara River canyon. (Note: Zipline is not included in the price, cost 25 € and needs to be booked in advance).

After breakfast, in the morning at the latest eight o’clock, experience this spectacular place with the most beautiful bay in the Adriatic, where we offer you an unforgettable three hours sea kayaking. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Boka Bay and take in historical sites like the baroque towns. During the kayaking, you get amazing views of majestic mountains, towns, and beaches. You get to see beautiful places and swim a lot. This Kayaking on Boka Bay from Kotor tour is through Europe’s most southern fjord, which resembles Norwegian fjords, is your opportunity to see the magnificent natural beauty of the bay and to get to know its culture, history, and architecture.

The Boka Bay gives you the opportunities to visit: Old Town of Kotor, who is, just like the Bay, listed in world heritage and protected by UNESCO (and represents one of the best-preserved medieval walled towns). Perast, a well preserved baroque town with two islands facing it, one of which an artificial island. The exceptional creation of nature, the Boka Bay with the coastal towns we can see driving alongside the coast on the way back to Kotor.
After a kayaking tour, you have time to take some optional activities, visit Old Town Kotor. Or, return to the accommodation and leisure. End the day with dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at 9 o’clock, we journey toward Budva – one of the oldest and most popular settlements on the Adriatic, well-known for its historic old town, sandy beaches, various nightlife, and breathtaking examples of Mediterranean architecture.

The highlight of this tour is 2500 years old town of Budva (Stari Grad), the oldest urban settlement on the Adriatic and the main tourist center in Montenegro, a Dubrovnik in miniature with small narrow alleys, cozy cafes, and delightful restaurants. A lovely town with fantastic views of St. Nicholas Island, the sea and the mountains around.

After leaving the town core we visit one of a few perfect destinations on the planet – St. Stephen Island (Sveti Stefan), an island-hotel a deluxe resort of the highest category, located a few kilometers from Budva. Near the island is the Villa Milocher (Villa Miločer) with King´s and Queen´s Beach. It is located in the beautiful public botanical park of Miločer, near the town of the same name. St. Stephen Island is a unique creation of nature and human hands, attracting travelers from all over the world. A visiting card of Montenegro.

We will also visit the small town of Petrovac, the old fishing village, as well as the beautiful beaches of Jaz and Bečići.
