Today, early in the morning at 6:00, you will meet your guide/driver for today’s journey to North Montenegro with the Three Lakes Walking Tour. Walk to swim in Jablansko and Black Lake, over Barno Lake, and possibly Zmijinje Lake. Discover each lake’s secrets with a local guide. Enjoy a mountain and nature today.

Barno Lake (Swampy Lake) is a small, shallow lake located in the middle of the spacious peatland and surrounded by coniferous forest on all sides at the altitude of 1,489 m. The maximum depth is only 1 m. Dense wetlands cover most of the lake’s surface and its shores.

Jablan Lake, a tranquil mountain getaway, is hidden in the picturesque foothills of the Crvena Greda mountain peak. Jablan Lake’s elevation is 1,791 meters above sea level. Jablan Lake, which is 8.5 meters deep, is a tranquil paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Black Lake is located at an altitude of 1416 m at the foot of Medjed and consists of two lakes, Small Lake and Great Lake, that are connected by water. It is the largest, the most beautiful and the most visited of the 18 glacial lakes in Durmitor.

On this day off, you can do what you’ve always wanted to do in Durmitor or nearby. You can relax on your own or join one of our outstanding optional activities.

You can, for example, go on a half-day or full-day rafting adventure in the deepest canyon in Europe, the second in the world after the Colorado Canyon in the USA. Try a half-day rafting tour from Šljivansko to Žugića Luka, a ride of nearly 10 km of water rapids will convey you through the most scenic gorge on the river Tara, lasting two to three hours depending on the water level.

Nevidio canyoning, Durmitor paragliding, hiking the Durmitor peaks, fishing, horseback riding, and simply exploring the surrounding area on a bike are some of the optional activities that are available to you.

After breakfast at 8:00, walking Tara Canyon edges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world’s deepest, at more than 1,300 meters; it’s also known by the name “Tear of Europe”. Those passionate about nature watching, birdwatching or animal watching may discover the canyon’s region to be an ideal spot for vistas and wildlife because of a variety of species.

People who love panoramic views, animal watching, or bird watching find the canyon area to be a perfect place for vistas and wildlife due to the wide range of plants, animals, and birds that can be observed there. From any of the several viewpoints situated above the canyon bottom, the Tara River and the canyon’s spectacular rocks offer impressive views.

At several viewpoints in the Tara River Canyon, especially those in Durmitor National Park, visitors can take in breathtaking views of the deepest part of the canyon, 1,333 meters. The two most popular sights are Čurevac and Vidikovac, which are close to Žabljak.

Most known viewpoints are Ćurevac, Soa, Vilino Guvno, Ravni, Brojila, and Tmorska Glavica, which we will experience on this tour. These places include routes that visitors may reach, as well as views of vertical cliffs, verdant vegetation, and the blue river.

Booking Confirmation:
Please confirm your booking following terms and conditions or contact the travel agency. Confirm booking within 7 days of the booking date by paying a 30% deposit, and the rest based on a payment plan. Increment policy is a practical strategy and idea aimed at increasing business sustainability associated with an already confirmed booking, built on a belief in, and respect for, the rights of a partner who made bookings as well as the Organizer.
The increment policy incorporates a strategy to meet partners’ needs “where they’re at,” to increase numbers of pax making a larger group (or smaller) as necessary addressing conditions of use along with the use of General Terms and Conditions for Partners and Travel Agencies.

Upon receipt of full payment, the customer receives an e-Voucher with all material delivered by e-mail which can be printed as PDFs or redeemed on mobile.

Montenegro Adventure also reserves the right not to offer the tour if the ordered service differs too much from the service booked at the first opportunity. Changes made less than 7 days before the scheduled departure time are not allowed unless the transfer provider or destination requires otherwise.
Cancellation:
The partner is entitled to cancel the tour and is required to inform the Montenegro Adventure. Cancellation can be made on our website or by e-mail: booking@montenegroadventure.travel. The date of the written cancellation is the basis for calculating the fee, according to the General Terms and Conditions of the Montenegro Adventure, expressed as a percentage of the total price, if it’s not otherwise stated, as follows:

RELEASE:
It is recommended to book as early as possible to guarantee availability – or at least seven days before departure for a tour.
Note: We require a minimum of 2 people to confirm this trip.
If a trip is not confirmed yet, you can register on the waiting list and will be notified when the trip is officially confirmed, with guaranteed departure. We recommend not making final travel arrangements until your trip meets the minimum number of guests and is confirmed.
In most cases, if a trip does not reach the minimum number of guests, you may choose to transfer to another trip date or another trip, be refunded your payments in full, or you may have the choice to pay a supplemental fee to run the trip with fewer guests. We make the final determination for these trips 30 days before the departure date.

Participants & Children:
If you are under 18 you will need parental permission, unless you travel in the company of an adult (18 years of age or older).
Children’s minimum age:
Please, be sure to check in the travel program if the child’s age is limited. In most activities we offer, the minimum age for children is 7 years, but we also have tours where the age of the child is not limited.
However, children under 7 years (0-6 years) cannot do all the activities, and parents must always supervise them. If there is a possibility, we can arrange childcare if parents want to leave their younger children to stay with our staff.
The minimum age for Rafting, Canyoning, Walking or Trekking – is a child older than 7 years. Paragliding, Horseback riding and Quad (ATV) would be 10 years. The minimum age for Kayak, SUP and Rock Climbing is 12 years.
TIPPING (Gratuity, Bakhshish): Please note that tipping is customary in Montenegro since a service charge is not added to the bill for example meals at restaurants, taxi rides, and so on. However, a modest tip is always appreciated when left as a thank you to staff who have served you, for exceptional service on a guided tour or at a restaurant, for example. The staff will appreciate it and be grateful for your gesture.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is an easy/moderate difficult tour, with a few long sightseeing tours combined with wine tasting, multi-sport activities such as mountain, river rafting, and/or zip-lining. We recommend you be physically fit for the trip.
SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: Credit card, extra cash – euro € (currency), camera (possibly extra batteries and memory card), sunblock, sunglasses, sun hat or cap, swimwear and towel, sandals, waterproof bag (for your phone or camera), water bottle, smaller rucksack, flashlight/torch, personal first aid kit (possibly. hand sanitiser, mask).
CLOTHES: Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the tour. A hat or cap, sunscreen, and appropriate sun protection clothing are required during warmer months. A small umbrella or raincoat for rain will be useful in case of light rain. The weather in the mountains of Montenegro can be very unpredictable (warmer clothing for months other than summer). Please prepare for various weather conditions.
DON’T FORGET THE ESSENTIALS: Original passport, Certificate that you have been Covid 19 vaccinated, insurance card, personal medications, and other essentials you need during your stay.
