Montenegro is a country famous for the areas of exceptional beauty such as the Adriatic sea, glacial lakes, high peaks and amazing rivers and canyons. So, we use these gems of nature for different activities like hiking, rafting, kayaking, fly fishing etc. The most popular rivers for fishing are Tara, Cehotina, Piva, Lim, Morača, Mrtvica, Zeta etc. So, during your visit to Northern Montenegro, one day has to be reserved for fly fishing in the water of the Cehotina River and its picturesque surrounding!
Cehotina is the third-longest river in Montenegro, and as a right tributary, it flows into the Drina River in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It flows through many villages in the municipality of Pljevlja but the most famous fishing village is Rabitlje since there is the cleanest part of the river.
Rabitlje is a village nearby the Pljevlja, where people primarily engage in agriculture, and in recent years it has become a significant fishing village. The fishing grounds are arranged, the benches were erected on the bank and the river is enriched with salmonid fish species. The most common types of fish are:

Prepare yourself for amazing fly fishing in the wild, sparkling and green Ćehotina River, surrounded by unblemished nature. No matter if you are an experienced fisherman or a beginner, our guide will guide you into the basics of fishing so a fantastic day, unforgettable day activity and surprising adventure are guaranteed!
We will walk along the river, to the dam so that you will be able to get to know the beauties of this area and to try various fishing techniques from different places.
During this day activity, the lunch box is provided. It won’t be a fish that you caught since the fishing is based on the principle “catch-and-release”. We prepare for you a delicious sandwich or baguette with traditional cheese cream (kajmak) and smoked prosciutto, water or juice and some fruit.
