The southernmost fjord in Europe, located in Montenegro, is one of the 13 most beautiful bays in the world and a place you should definitely visit during your stay. The place where the crystal-clear and warm Adriatic Sea hugs the steep slopes of the Lovćen and Orjen mountains has always attracted attention with its beauty and strategic location.
Numerous civilisations have left their traces in Boka Bay, especially in the old towns of Kotor and Perast. That was the reason UNESCO declared Boka Bay a World Heritage Site in 1978.
Join us on this Bay of Kotor tour to learn about history and culture and be inspired by the beautiful scenery! Experience fascinating views from the sea and the mountains!
Kotor – or in agreement (Google Map)
According to the itinerary
After you have been enchanted by the walls of the old town of Kotor, our first adventure will enchant you with views from the water during a speedboat ride along the scenic shoreline to Perast, the old town of captains, and the best-preserved Baroque town on the Adriatic coast. You will be delighted by the lavish Perast’s palaces and visiting the famous island, “Our Lady of the Rocks”, one of the most visited places when you are in Montenegro. We continue our tour along the scenic coast to a few exciting attractions.
Prepare for a fantastic day trip to Boka Bay!
The Lustica Peninsula houses the Blue Cave, which is only accessible by boat. This ride won’t only take you to check the cave but also part of the surrounding area, an exciting opportunity to sight Fort Mamula and other sights along the Bay of Kotor, such as Žanjice Beach and the submarine tunnel.
After our first speedboat adventure along the picturesque coast, we embark on our second adventure to Boka Bay, where we will take a cable car tour and enjoy breathtaking views from above.
At about ten minutes before our departure time, we’ll meet for a “welcome meeting” outside Kotor Old Town, or at the location specified on your voucher.

At the meeting, the tour guide will give a brief introduction of today’s tour. This information will include all about the speedboat ride across Boka Bay and the Kotor Cable Car tour.
The speed boat ride starts from a pier at Kotor, where we proceed along the coast towards the town of Perast. When we move closer to Perast, in the bay, you will see two islands which seem to swim on the sea surface, acting unrealistically even to those who have watched them before: Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela) and St George (Sveti Đorđe) Island. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the visit to the church.

We leave Perast and the gorgeous ”Church of Our Lady of the Rock” and cruise across the fjord to another site in the bay. The old fort of Mamula Island, a notorious former prison during the reign of the Austro-Hungarian Empire located on a deserted island near the mouth of the bay, takes us to your next sight.

The Blue Cave is magnificent and similar to other Blue Caves around the world. Enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the clear and refreshing water in the small cave.

On Žanjic Beach, we break to have some time to swim in the shimmering blue waters. The beach is gravel, and there is no sand; therefore, the water is pristine and clear. The beach is surrounded by an olive grove. One can have a rest from the sun in its shadows and enjoy a glass of wonderful wine.

From there, after bathing, you start your journey back to Kotor to the meeting place with a fantastic experience after Boka Bay’s speedboat cruise from Kotor.
A short drive to Kotor Cable Car’s starting point – Dub, the Lower Station, and also to take you back after your cable car ride returns.

Situated about 5 kilometers from Kotor Old Town, Dub, the Lower Station of the cable car is just 200 meters away from the Kotor-Tivat road.

Everything is easily accessible and made with your needs in mind. Here at Lower Station-Dub, we’ve lined up activities to make the ride leading up to a wonderful experience even more enjoyable.
The ride up Lovćen Mountain in the cable car to the upper station.
Please read the instructions and inform yourself of specific limitations before boarding the cable car. Following your guide’s and official staff’s instructions and adhering to the rules of order are essential.

The Kotor Cable Car ride doesn’t stop at the breathtaking view of the Bay of Kotor. Along with beautiful views, you can also listen to beautiful and soothing music in the cable car cabin.
Free time for sightseeing, refreshment on the top, and enjoying the beautiful mountain and view. We also invite you to discover the beauty of Lovćen National Park!

There are breathtaking panoramic vistas, breathtaking bike routes, and hiking paths all around the Upper Station, Kuk.

Luxurious fare is also available at the restaurant inside the national park, which has a large terrace and a wonderful view of the bay. Set out on this wonderful adventure by igniting your inner explorer!

The cable car return ride to the start point, Lower Station – Dub, has beautiful views from the Lovćen mountain to the Bay of Kotor with Tivat and Kotor Town.

The return journey to Kotor, or according to the program.
Our ride from Dub, the starting point for the Kotor Cable Car Tour, takes about 15 minutes.
Arriving in Kotor, at the meeting place, with a fantastic experience after the Kotor Cable Car tour.
