Our first sightseeing will be Old town Kotor, located at the very end of Boka bay. During the guided walking tour through the town, you will walk over the Square of Arms, Square of Flour, Square of Saint Tryphon, Square of Churches, Square of Salade etc. There are numerous palaces that belonged to the famous noble families from Kotor, as well as the Clock Tower from the 16th century, in front of which is placed the medieval column of shames.
The most striking building in the town is definitely the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, which impresses all visitors with its history and timeless beauty of more than 1000 years. Visiting the Maritime Museum you will be introduced to 10 centuries-long maritime histories while the Museum of cats will be the perfect spot for cat lovers!

We continue our trip along the scenic road to Perast, the old town of captains and the best-preserved Baroque town on the Adriatic coast. You will be delighted by the lavish palaces as well as the cathedral of Saint Nicholas whose 55m-high bell tower (from 1691) represents the most beautiful example of a detailed type of bell tower with a pyramidal end on the Adriatic.
During the tour, we will have a short boat ride to the island “Our Lady of the Rocks” for a visit to the church and museum. The walls and ceiling of the church are covered with 68 canvases painted by Tripo Kokolj, one of the best known local baroque painters.
We will meet for a “welcome meeting” outside Kotor Old Town, or at the spot specified in your voucher, approximately 10 minutes prior to departure time.
Upon meeting, the guide will provide a quick overview of what happened that day, which will include the Boka Bay speed boat journey, Kotor Old Town tour, and Kotor Cable Car.
The speed boat ride begins from a pier at Kotor, where we continue along the coast toward the town of Perast. When we get closer to Perast, in the bay, you will see two islands which seem to swim on the sea surface, unrealistic acting even to those who have watched them before, Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela) and St. George (Sveti Đorđe) Island. According to a legend, these fishermen after the shipwreck found on a sea rock an icon of the Holy Mother of God with Christ and vowed that right on that spot where the icon was found they will build a church, which will be dedicated to this icon of the Holy Mother of God, protector of fishermen and sailors. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the visit to the church.
We leave Perast and the gorgeous ”Church of Our Lady of the Rock” and we cruise across the fjord to another site of the bay. The old fort of Mamula island, a notorious former prison during the reign of the Austro-Hungary empire, located on a deserted island near the mouth of the bay, takes us to your next stop. Mamula is an uninhabited island at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, a circular shape, 200 m in diameter, covered with low vegetation, with a beach and a pier on the north side. The coast is rocky, and in some places, it is concreted. Here, the sea is very deep and clean, which makes fans of underwater swimming very fond of visiting this place. The beach can be reached by sea only.
The Blue Cave is magnificent and similar to other Blue Caves around the world. Enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the clear and refreshing water, in the small cave.
On Žanjic Beach, we take a break to have some time to swim in the shimmering blue waters. The beach is gravel and there is no sand, therefore, the water is very clean and clear. The beach is surrounded by an olive grove. One can have a rest from the sun in its shadows and enjoy a glass of wonderful wine.
From there, after bathing, you start your journey back to Kotor to the meeting place with a fantastic experience after Boka bay’s speed boat cruise from Kotor.
Once you enter the Old Town through the Sea Gate, the old Clock Tower will welcome you and tell you that you are right on time to explore the charming streets and squares of this wealthy town!
Passing by the palaces of the noble families, you will feel the spirit of Venetian culture and architecture. Suddenly the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, patron and protector of Kotor, will appear in front of you and amaze you with its eternal beauty. Only a few steps further there is the Maritime Museum, home of the long naval history and tradition of Kotor and the whole of Boka Bay.
After a guided tour through the Old Town of Kotor, you will have an hour for lunch or a walk around.
Enjoy lunch, and a cup of coffee or local wine on the main square, alternatively, visit some museums and attractions on your own, and even visit Greenmarket near the Sea Gate! At 2 o’clock, after 1 hour of free time in Kotor, we drive to Dub, the starting point for the Kotor Cable Car tour.
A short drive to Kotor Cable Car’s starting point – Dub, the Lower Station, and also to take you back after your cable car ride returns.
Situated about 5 kilometers from Kotor Old Town – Dub, the Lower Station of the cable car is just 200 meters away from the Kotor – Tivat road.
