Itinerary

DAY 1Arrival at airport - Welcome meeting and transfer to accommodation

Arrival and transfer by minibus to Pljevlja towards your accommodation. We check-in and then set off on a discovery to get a first feel for the city and the country.
Pljevlja is a small city of great importance located in the northern area of Montenegro, as part of the spacious Pljevlja Valley.

You will get to explore the town’s streets and dine at one of the cosy restaurants, where you will taste the specialities of this mountain area with the welcome drink and music that this town is known for.

DAY 2City tour Pljevlja - for acclimatization

After breakfast, we go from our accommodation towards the main street of Pljevlja. We will visit cultural-historical monuments and explore the medieval monastery St. Trojica and Hussein Pasha Mosque.

After the tour, you will have time for optional activities, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3Hiking Ljubišnja, Dernečište (2238m)

After breakfast at 8 o’clock, we will enjoy a full-day tour, on a really magnificent hike in Montenegro on mount Ljubišnja. Its highest peak is Dernečište, located at 2238 meters. A robust and mighty mountain, covered with centuries-old forest, which attracts the attention and admiration from lovers of wild and untouched nature.

The mountain makes a unique unified whole endowed with thick coniferous and deciduous forests, mountain sources, and springs, as well as pastures and meadows. It is a mountain in which the visitor falls in love at first sight because it provides real peace and enjoyment in the blissful smells of conifers and deciduous.
We will have lunch at one of the mountain households where you will also be introduced to the lifestyle of this mountain and eat the cuisine of the area.

DAY 4Rafting Tara, Šljivansko - Žugića Luka & Big Zipline

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we drive toward Tara Canyon for a rafting ride through the very popular part of the river Tara. After visiting Đurđevića Tara bridge, we prepare for rafting ride Šljivansko – Žugića Luka which lasts 2-3 hours (depending on the water level) with breaks for photography and swimming.

We will see the largest water spring in Europe, which is also the shortest river in Europe, Ljutica. After Ljutica, the ride continues to the famous and very popular tourist attraction Đurđevića Tara bridge, from which we see this architectural wonder from below.

After delicious lunch in Žugića Luka, we will enjoy the spectacular extreme zipline. You will zip 1050 m across the world’s second deepest canyon at speeds that range up to 120 km/h! Afterwards, we will take a walk on the bridge and enjoy the view from the famous bridge Đurđevića Tara, which is an architectural masterpiece with five arches and at a height of 152 meters above the river.

DAY 5Hiking Durmitor – Bobotov Kuk (2523 m)

After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, we check out the hotel in Pljevlja and drive toward Žabljak, where we will take one of the most scenic hiking tours you can do in northern Montenegro!
This journey will take us on a climb to the top Bobotov Kuk, where we will enjoy the surroundings at views at 2420 m. The mountain peak offers fantastic views of the distant horizons of the canyons Tara and Piva and the highest mountains of Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia.

Return to the hotel on Žabljak – check-in and free time, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6Canyon Nevidio with canyoning

After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and leave the mountain Durmitor, We journey toward Podgorica’s valley, with today’s tour ”Canyon Nevidio & Canyoning”.
Canyon Nevidio is located on the outskirts of Šavnik, a place where millions of years ago the mountains of Durmitor and Vojnik crashed into each other. This is the last conquered canyon in Europe.

After the exciting canyoning tour and a delicious lunch, we continue our journey to Budva and our hotel.

After breakfast at 8 o’clock, you get to relax on the beach by sunbathing in stunning Budva, which is one of the oldest and most popular settlements on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro. It is well known for its sandy beaches, historic old town and diverse nightlife.

The old town of Budva (Stari Grad) is the oldest urban settlement on the Adriatic Sea and the main tourist centre in Montenegro, a Dubrovnik in miniature with small narrow alleys, lovely cafes, and cosy restaurants.

Start on & End on of the Tour

Airport: If you arrive by plane and airport transfer is included (or you purchased separately a transfer), we’ll meet you at the airport in the arrivals lounge after your plane landed, according to the scheduled time or on the agreement. Our guide or driver will be waiting for you outside the arrival lounge with your name written on our signboard. Please, check our website or travel agency beforehand for the correct start and end locations and times.
Hotel & Accommodation: If you are already in your hotel/accommodation, the welcome meeting may be scheduled on the day of arrival at 20:00 or on the agreement. If you arrive late at night the welcome meeting should be held the next day before breakfast. Please check your voucher, our website the itinerary or hotel reception, there will be a welcome meeting.
If you arrive at the hotel 1-2 days earlier welcome meeting will be held along with other passengers according to the program, but you are welcome to contact us for any other service or information.
Other: If you arrive on Day 2 on your own, with your own car, bus or otherwise, you‘ll be at the starting/meeting point at least 30 minutes before departure time. To ensure smooth operation, we cannot take requests for late departures. Please double-check your booking beforehand for the correct start and end locations and times. Please note that we show all meeting/starting locations available on the website. So please use this as a reference only.

Booking confirmation & Voucher

Please confirm your booking in accordance with terms and conditions online or contact the travel agency within 7 days of the booking date. Confirm booking immediately upon booking if it’s less than 7 days before the scheduled departure for the tour.
Bookings that are made online can be confirmed using My Account. The information available includes, you’ll be able to track the confirmation, track your payment status, boarding and arrival locations and you can also rate the tour after you finished the tour. Note: Bookings made by phone cannot be checked from My Account.
Also, show either a paper or an electronic voucher to your tour guide at the start of the tour.

Transport & Transfer

Arrival airport: Airport Tivat is arrival airports recommended for this tour because it provides much shorter transfer times to Kotor, Tivat or Budva on Day 1. Private transfers can be an economical alternative to public transport in Montenegro, in some cases equal to the cost of public transportation in the EU. You can book private transfers from/to airports and to/from hotels on our website.
Airport transfers: Book your airports transfer directly online when you book your tour or activity.
– If you want to share the transfer with other passengers as a “shared transfer”, please indicate that you want a shared transfer when completing your online booking form. In that case, you have an even better price of transfer that we will calculate at the end of your payment.
If there is an insufficient number of participants during your reservation and you want to book a “shared transfer” and pay a deposit, but in the meantime, other people also booked then, the basic price will be calculated. Just give us a notification when booking for this “shared transfer” option.
Other arrivals: If you arrive at any other station except the airport, such as the bus or railway station as well as port and do not have transportation, please contact us. We will be happy to book your transportation (subject to availability).

Confirmation of accommodation

To get the best possible accommodation in the category according to your program in the best location, we will confirm with the hotel/accommodation to do a favour for your best. Where exactly do you want to stay, you will get details when we have signed a contract with your accommodation. E.g. we do so because instead of your hotel of 3 stars, you may get 4 stars or perhaps a better location, facilities or other if it is the same hotel class. You can book a transfer to the city, where you have accommodation, then your name and address will be your accommodation but no later than 7 days before departure.

If you book with us your transfer to the hotel/accommodation then you can also get the best terms and price as we give you a discount on transfer if several travellers share the transfer.

Change and Cancellation Policy

Change:
All changes are subject to availability and a price increase or equivalent administrative charge imposed on the holder of the credit card used during the booking process.
• For any type of change, please contact our Customer Center directly.
• The addresses or location on the voucher are the places where you will be picked up and left.

Montenegro Adventure also reserves the right not to offer the tour if the ordered service differs too much from the service booked at the first opportunity. Changes made less than 48 hours before scheduled departure time are not allowed unless the transfer provider or destination requires otherwise.
Cancellation:
The passenger is entitled to cancel the tour and is required to inform the Montenegro Adventure. Cancellation can be made on our website or by e-mail: booking@montenegroadventure.travel. The date of the written cancellation is the basis for calculating the fee, according to the General Terms and Conditions of the Montenegro Adventure, expressed as a percentage of the total price, if it’s not otherwise stated, as follows:

• 5% if the tour is cancelled up to 45 days before the start of the trip (early cancellation)
• 10% if the tour is cancelled for one month, ie 30 days before the trip starts
• 20% if the tour is cancelled 29 – 21 days before the start of the trip
• 40% if the tour is cancelled 20 – 15 days before the start of the trip
• 80% if the tour is cancelled 14 – 10 days before the start of the trip
• 90% if the tour is cancelled 9 – 6 days before the start of the trip
• 100% if cancelled 5 to 0 days before the start of the tour or during the tour

The passenger pays only the incurred costs to the Organizer if he cancelled due to circumstances that he could not avoid or eliminate: illness or death of the passenger or spouse and children, first hereditary relatives, brother or sister, or a call for the military exercise of passengers and elementary accidents are officially declared. For these cases, the passenger is required to submit written evidence to the Organizer.
In this case, the passenger is obliged to give written confirmation to the Organizer of the reason for cancellation issued by the competent authorities within 5 days. If the person who cancelled the tour provides a suitable replacement or the organizer finds a replacement the person is obliged to pay only the costs of the Organizer. If the tour is missed due to delays or missing arrival, refunds will not be issued.

– Price is based on group 10 participants (adults) and per person, as well as according to the suggested date of the multi-day tour.

– The tour duration can be customized to your needs as a “mini-break” 4 days / 2, 3 or 4 nights, 5-6 days / 4, 5 or 6 nights, 8 days / 7 or 8 nights, 10 days / 9, 10 or 11 nights or according to your wishes for a longer period. Contact us to customize it to your needs.

Clothes: Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the tour. A hat or cap, sunscreen, and appropriate sun protection clothing is required during warmer months. A small umbrella or raincoat for rain will be useful in case of light rain. The weather in the mountains of Montenegro can be very unpredictable (warmer clothing for months other than summer). Please prepare for various weather conditions.
