Itinerary

08:30Meeting in the Mojkovac's center, or by arrangement

Wherever you are—in the center of Mojkovac, at your accommodation, or another agreed-upon spot—we will meet up to begin this adventure. Enjoy a journey through the gorgeous Tara River Canyon to Šljivansko, the start point of the rafting ride. Before we leave the rafting starting place, this moment is a right opportunity to ask any extra questions you may have.

Walking towards the river before the adventure starts

09:30Arrival at Šljivansko (Start of Rafting)

When you reach Šljivansko (II Logor), the official launch site for the rafting activity, our experienced instructor and skipper will be there to welcome you, introduce you to the canyon, teach you a thorough safety rundown, and help you get ready. To keep you warm and comfortable in the cold river water, we will provide you with high-quality neoprene suits, boots, and safety vests.

10:00Rafting from Šljivansko to Žugića Luka

Rafts go down into the pristine Tara River. As we follow the currents downstream, we emerge into the picturesque Ljutica River, the shortest river in Europe and home to a highly active spring. You get to look up at the 170 meter architectural marvel from the river as you float beneath the massive Đurđevića Tara Bridge, which is one of the most impressive features of this float. Pausing to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery and swimming in the drinkable turquoise water will be opportunities along the route.

12:00End of Rafting at Žugića Luka

When we dock at Žugića Luka, our river journey comes to an end. At this point, we disembark and take a break to change out of our wet neoprene clothing. Before heading back, you can take a moment to relax on the riverbank and enjoy the peaceful canyon scenery.

End of rafting and arrival at Zugica Luka

12:30Đurđevića Tara Bridge short break

After your rafting fun comes to a final halt at Žugića Luka, our organised transport will take you back to where it all began, stopping briefly at the Đurđevića Tara Bridge for sightseeing or lunch. You will be driven back from the rafting activity at this point, leaving you with approximately half an hour to either explore the bridge or have lunch.
