According to the itinerary
Experience a thrilling adventure that blends architectural marvels with the hidden secrets of the Tara River. Within a few spectacular hours, you will have a front-row seat to the power of nature and human creativity as we have crafted this path to highlight the canyon’s most distinctive hydrological and historical aspects.
We begin our adventure at the designated meeting point: in the center of Kolašin, your accommodation, or by agreement. Journey along the fascinating canyon of the Tara River to Šljivansko, the starting point for rafting. This is the perfect time to ask any final questions before we depart from the rafting starting point.

Upon arrival at Šljivansko (II Logor), the official launch site for the rafting tour, our licensed guide and skippers will welcome you and introduce you to the canyon, providing a comprehensive safety briefing and assisting you in gearing up. You will be equipped with high-quality neoprene suits, boots, and safety vests to ensure comfort and warmth in the fresh river water.

The rafts are launched into the Tara River’s crystal-clear water. We reach the breathtaking Ljutica River, which is the shortest river in Europe and home to a very powerful spring, as the currents carry us downstream. One of the most impressive parts of this float is floating beneath the massive Đurđevića Tara Bridge, where you can look up at the 170 meter architectural wonder from the river. There will be opportunities to stop and take pictures of the stunning landscape as well as swim in the drinkable turquoise water.

Our river journey concludes as we dock at Žugića Luka. Here, we disembark and take time to change out of our wet neoprene gear. You can relax by the riverbank and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the canyon before we prepare to return.

Our organized transport picks you up from the endpoint of rafting, Žugića Luka, for the drive back to the original starting point for rafting with a short break for sightseeing or lunch at the Đurđevića Tara Bridge. This completes the rafting tour, bringing you back, giving you about half an hour to explore the bridge or have lunch.

After a wonderful time exploring the bridge and its surroundings or enjoying lunch with a view of this architectural wonder, we drive back to Kolašin. We drive along the same scenic road of the Tara River Canyon, enjoying the view of the canyon and the river before arriving in Kolašin.
